Stroller Stride
with Loany de la Garza Portilla
Come join other new mothers for a welcoming session that blends light exercise with wellness tips. This is a great opportunity to connect, share experiences, and support each other in a relaxed and friendly environment. Whether you're looking to get moving or just meet others on the same journey, this class is for you!
Basic Life Support-American Heart Association
with Jenica Adams
This course will teach Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED skills. ***This class is free to all eligible participants and does not include a certification card from the American Heart Association. Due to safety reasons, anyone who is 36 weeks pregnant and beyond will not be eligable for certification due to the risk associated with the practice movements required to certify. If the participant would like to purchase the certification card, the cost will be $7.00. Participants must arrive on time for class to be eligible for certification. Class doors will be closed 10 minutes after class starts and those arriving late will need to sign up for the next class.***No children will be allowed to attend due to the nature of the class and the need for participants to practice their skills. Remember to wear something comfortable as this class requires a lot of movement. Participants may be entered in a drawing for a $25 gift card and will be able to shop our baby boutique for free. (Seats for this class are based on single registrations. If partners will be attending together then they will both need to register)
Please bring your own water bottle for use with our water dispensers. Snacks will be provided when they are available. Please feel free to bring your own food to class.
Toddler Parenting
with Melissa Lozano
Please arrive to class on time, doors will close 15 minutes after start time. Parenting toddlers is a journey filled with discovery, challenges, and joy. This class offers practical guidance and emotional support for those navigating the toddler years (ages 1-3). Participants will explore effective communication strategies, and gain tools to foster independence, emotional regulation, and positive behavior. Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.
Please bring your own water bottle for use with our water dispensers. Snacks will be provided when they are available. Please feel free to bring your own food to class.
Virtual Understanding Gestational Diabetes
Being diagnosed with gestational diabetes can feel overwhelming, but with the right knowledge and support, you can manage it confidently and protect your health and your baby’s well-being. This course is designed to empower expecting parents with practical tools, expert guidance, and emotional support to navigate gestational diabetes throughout pregnancy and beyond.
In this class, participants will learn:
- What gestational diabetes is and how it develops during pregnancy.
- How blood sugar levels affect both parent and baby.
- Nutrition strategies and meal planning tailored to gestational diabetes.
- The role of physical activity in managing blood glucose. Monitoring techniques including glucose testing and tracking.
- Medication options and when they may be needed.
- Preparing for labor and birth with gestational diabetes.
- Postpartum care and long-term health considerations.
Led by experienced educators and healthcare professionals, this course combines evidence-based information with compassionate support. Whether you’ve just received a diagnosis or want to be proactive, this class will help you feel informed, prepared, and empowered.

New to virtual classes? If you haven’t attended a virtual class with us before, please call our office ahead of time so we can set you up for remote services.
Camera requirement: All participants are required to keep their cameras on during class as part of our program standards.
Screen name: Please make sure your screen name matches the name you registered with.
Remote signature: Don’t forget to use the link provided to sign your remote signature before the end of class.
Following these steps helps us maintain a supportive and interactive learning environment. Please note that not meeting these requirements may result in removal from the class.

(Car Seat Safety in Spanish) Seguridad del asiento del coche
Por favor llegue a clase a tiempo, las puertas se cerrarán 15 minutos después de la hora de inicio. Preparing Older Siblings for Baby's Arrival(Only adult attendees need to complete the registration)
Please arrive to class on time, doors will close 15 minutes after start time.This class is for families who already have a child or children and are looking for creative ways to help them adjust to their new sibling’s arrival. Welcoming a new baby is a big transition—not just for parents, but for older siblings too. This class is designed to help families prepare children for the arrival of a new baby in a way that fosters connection, understanding, and emotional security. This class is to be attended by both parents and siblings.

Newborn Care Class #1- What To Expect
Please arrive to class on time, doors will close 15 minutes after start time.This class is for expecting parents and will cover what to expect after the baby has been born. This class will cover common hospital procedures and how to advocate for yourself and your baby, the traits and reflexes that babies are born with, normal newborn behaviors and practical tips for comforting a crying baby. Each participant who attends the class may be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.
