This class will help parents and older siblings as they prepare for the new baby to join their family. Through education and practical application, parents and siblings will learn what to expect when baby arrives and ways that older siblings can feel included as they help with the care of the new baby. This class is to be attended by both parents and siblings.

Participants who attend may be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.

This class will cover common hospital procedures and how to advocate for yourself and your baby, the traits and reflexes that babies are born with, normal newborn behaviors and practical tips for comforting a crying baby. This will prepare parents by teaching them what to expect immediately after baby arrives, self care for new moms, as well as how to recognize the signs of postpartum depression. This is a two part series and participants will need to enroll in both sessions. Each participant who attends this class will have the opportunity to create a postpartum essentials bag and may be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card. Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.

This class is taught by our Child Life Specialist and is designed to be an interactive class that engages parents and infants in play while teaching parents about the different developmental milestones as they move through the available activities.

• Parents will leave with ideas on how to facilitate play at home with their babies.
• This class is designed for infants and babies that are not mobile.

Please arrive to class on time. Participants will not be allowed into class if more than 30 minutes late.

This is an informational class designed to educate parents about the benefits of signing with their baby from an early age. Parents will leave with an understanding of the many benefits of signing with their baby and how to use the most common signs as well as how to incorporate the signs into their daily infant care routines. 

Please arrive to class on time. Participants will not be allowed into class if more than 30 minutes late.
