Learn how to confidently introduce solid foods with baby-led weaning. This one-hour class covers readiness signs, safe food preparation, choking prevention, and practical tips to support your baby’s independence and healthy eating habits.

Please arrive to class on time. Participants will not be allowed into class if more than 15 minutes late. 

**(Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.)  If class is cancelled for any reason, participants will be notified as soon as possible.**

Please arrive to class on time, doors will close 15 minutes after start time.This class covers an overview of infant and child car seat safety. We look at 5 types of car seats, how to properly install, and basic techniques to keep every passenger safe.San Antonio Birth Doulas is not a car seat distribution center and therefore car seats will not be given out for this class. Car seats will not be  installed during this class, however, there will be an opportunity to practice installing your car seat after class or you may schedule an individual appointment with one of our car seat technicians for assistance.  Each participant may be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.

Please bring your own water bottle for use with our water dispensers. Snacks will be provided when they are available. Please feel free to bring your own food to class.

A fun, interactive class for caregivers and their infants (0–12 months), Play, Bond, Grow focuses on building connection through purposeful play. Each weekly session highlights a key area of development—gross and fine motor, cognitive, social-emotional, and language skills—through guided activities, music, and sensory experiences. Caregivers gain simple, practical tools to support their child’s growth while strengthening their bond in a supportive, engaging environment.

This will prepare parents by teaching them what to expect immediately after baby arrives, self care for new moms, as well as how to recognize the signs of postpartum depression.  Seats for this class are individual. Esta clase cubre una descripción general de la seguridad de los asientos de seguridad para bebés y niños. El educador demostrará 5 tipos de asientos para el automóvil, cómo instalarlos correctamente y técnicas básicas para mantener a todos los pasajeros seguros. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de practicar con diferentes estilos de asientos para el automóvil.
