(Car Seat Safety in Spanish) Seguridad del asiento del coche

Los participantes que asistan podrán participar en el sorteo de una tarjeta regalo. San Antonio Birth Doulas no es un centro de distribución de asientos para el automóvil y no se entregarán asientos para el automóvil en esta clase.

Esta clase ofrece una visión general sobre la seguridad de asientos para bebés y niños en el automóvil. Revisaremos cinco tipos de asientos, cómo instalarlos correctamente y técnicas básicas para mantener seguros a todos los pasajeros.
San Antonio Birth Doulas no es un centro de distribución de asientos para automóvil, por lo tanto, no se entregarán asientos durante esta clase. Preparing Older Siblings for Baby's Arrival(Only adult attendees need to complete the registration)
Please arrive to class on time, doors will close 15 minutes after start time.This class is for families who already have a child or children and are looking for creative ways to help them adjust to their new sibling’s arrival. Welcoming a new baby is a big transition—not just for parents, but for older siblings too. This class is designed to help families prepare children for the arrival of a new baby in a way that fosters connection, understanding, and emotional security. This class is to be attended by both parents and siblings.
Please bring your own water bottle for use with our water dispensers. Snacks will be provided when they are available. Please feel free to bring your own food to class.
Newborn Care Class #1- What To Expect
Please arrive to class on time, doors will close 15 minutes after start time.This class is for expecting parents and will cover what to expect after the baby has been born. This class will cover common hospital procedures and how to advocate for yourself and your baby, the traits and reflexes that babies are born with, normal newborn behaviors and practical tips for comforting a crying baby. Each participant who attends the class may be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.
Please bring your own water bottle for use with our water dispensers. Snacks will be provided when they are available. Please feel free to bring your own food to class.
Virtual Newborn Care Part 1-Newborn Expectations
This class is for expecting parents and will cover:
- what to expect after the baby has been born.
- common hospital procedures and how to advocate for yourself and your baby
- the traits and reflexes that babies are born with
- normal newborn behaviors and practical tips for comforting a crying baby.
We’re excited to offer virtual options for many of our classes and look forward to having you join us online!
To help ensure a smooth and engaging experience, please take a moment to review the following guidelines for attending virtual classes:
New to virtual classes? If you haven’t attended a virtual class with us before, please call our office ahead of time so we can set you up for remote services.
Camera requirement: All participants are required to keep their cameras on during class as part of our program standards.
Screen name: Please make sure your screen name matches the name you registered with.
Remote signature: Don’t forget to use the link provided to sign your remote signature before the end of class.
Following these steps helps us maintain a supportive and interactive learning environment. Please note that not meeting these requirements may result in removal from the class.

Baby and Me Movement

(Do Not Register Children)
Baby and Me Movement is a beautiful blend of movement, infant care/development, postpartum care and parent community building.
- This class is for parents and their non-mobile infants.
- Come enjoy songs, baby massage, infant care education, group discussion, and baby friendly stretching poses.
- Build community and connect with other parents.
Please arrive to class on time. Participants will not be allowed into class if more than 15 minutes late.
**(Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.) This class is held every other Wednesday at the same time. If class is cancelled for any reason, participants will be notified as soon as possible.**

November Workshop: Parent Prep: Home Safety and Family Wellness Essentials
with Guest Speaker
Join us for a two-part class designed to support new and expecting parents. In the first half, a Safe Kids Program expert will share practical tips on preventing injuries at home and creating safe sleep environments for infants and young children.
The second half focuses on family health, covering diabetes awareness, nutrition basics, and preventive care. Learn how to recognize signs of illness, understand vaccination schedules, and build healthy habits for lifelong wellness.
Bonus: Safe Kids will provide giveaways, and participants who complete all three classes will receive a food box to take home and access to shop in the boutique.
