Welcome Workshop In Person(Please call our office to schedule your in person intake prior to attending this class)

Please arrive to class on time, doors will close 15 minutes after start time.The Welcome Workshop is a class for all program participants who have already completed their in person intake. Please call and schedule your intake prior to taking this class. This is a hybrid class and can be taken in person or virtually. If this class is attended in person you will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card, you can shop the boutique, and you will receive a door prize. During this workshop we will introduce you to our diverse program services, guide you through the sign-up process, and clarify expectations for your participation.  We will also connect you with invaluable community resources to support your family's well-being. You and your family will leave this session understanding the tools we offer to help meet your goals and feel educated and empowered during pregnancy and/or parenting! 

Virtual Self Advocacy

Pregnancy is a deeply personal journey, and navigating the healthcare system can be overwhelming. This course is designed to equip expecting parents with the knowledge, confidence, and communication skills needed to advocate for themselves throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care.

Participants will explore:

  • What self-advocacy means in the context of prenatal and birth care.
  • How to communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
  • Creating and using a birth plan to express preferences and values.
  • Strategies for making informed decisions and asking the right questions.
  • Navigating unexpected changes during labor and delivery.
  • Understanding systemic challenges and how to advocate within them, especially for parents from marginalized communities.
  • The role of partners and support people in advocacy.

 

Led by experienced birth professionals, this course offers practical tools, real-life scenarios, and supportive guidance to help parents feel empowered and respected in their care journey. Whether you're planning a hospital birth, home birth, or something in between, this class helps ensure your voice is heard and your choices are honored.

March Workshop-The Importance of a Doula in Your Birth Space/Nutrition and Wellness for Whole‑Body Health

The Importance of Doula Support-

This workshop provides an overview of the role of a doula and the value of continuous support during pregnancy, labor, and birth. Participants will learn how doulas contribute to emotional support, physical comfort, informed decision‑making, and effective communication within the birth environment. The session also explores how doula care complements medical providers and can support a more informed and supported birth experience. 

Nutrition and Wellness-

This workshop offers an educational overview of nutrition and wellness as foundational components of overall health and well‑being. Topics include balanced nutrition, hydration, stress management, mindful movement, and everyday wellness practices that support energy, resilience, and long‑term health. Emphasis is placed on building sustainable habits that nourish the body and promote physical, mental, and emotional wellness.

 

Prenatal Movement-Gentle Movement & Mindful Connection for Expecting Mothers

This nurturing class is thoughtfully designed for those on their pregnancy journey, offering a safe and supportive space to move, breathe, and connect with your changing body and growing baby. Each session focuses on gentle stretches, mindful breathing, and relaxation techniques that promote comfort, strength, and emotional well-being during pregnancy.

Led by an experienced instructor who understands the unique needs of expectant mothers, this class encourages self-care, community, and empowerment through every stage of pregnancy. Whether you're new to movement practices or looking to maintain your routine, you'll find a welcoming environment tailored just for you.

This class is exclusively for pregnant individuals. All trimesters are welcome.

 

Please arrive to class on time, doors will close 15 minutes after start time.

Please bring your own mat if you have one, and a water bottle. Snacks will be provided when they are available. Please feel free to bring your own food to class.

Childbirth Education Series

This class should be taken after 28 weeks of pregnancy.

The childbirth SERIES and the MARATHON are the same curriculum. Please do not register for both. 

Registrations are limited to the pregnant person and ONE support person. The support person must also register to hold their spot.

This 4 week series will equip birthing persons and support persons with the knowledge and tools necessary for birth, newborn expectations and the postpartum period.

Each week features a different topic. Topics include:

Week 1: Pain and Comfort

Week 2: Labor and Birth

Week 3: Medical Interventions

Week 4: Newborn Hospital Procedures and Postpartum Care

 

 

At the end of this four week series participants will be entered into a raffle for a door prize. After each class participants can have a free shopping trip to our Baby Boutique.

Please arrive to class at least 10 minutes before class start time. Doors will be locked and participants will not be allowed into class if more than 15 minutes late. 

**(Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.) This class is held every other Thursday at the same time. If class is cancelled for any reason, participants will be notified as soon as possible.**

Basic Life Support-American Heart Association

This course will teach Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED skills. ***This class is free to all eligible participants and does not include a certification card from the American Heart Association. Due to safety reasons, anyone who is 36 weeks pregnant and beyond will not be eligable  due to the risk associated with the practice movements required. Class doors will be closed 10 minutes after class starts and those arriving late will need to sign up for the next class.***No children will be allowed to attend due to the nature of the class and the need for participants to practice their skills. Remember to wear something comfortable as this class requires a lot of movement. Participants will be able to shop our baby boutique for free. (Seats for this class are based on single registrations. If partners will be attending together then they will both need to register)

Please bring your own water bottle for use with our water dispensers. Snacks will be provided when they are available. Please feel free to bring your own food to class.

Virtual Infant Massage

Please arrive to class on time, participants will not be allowed in 15 minutes after start time and those arriving late will need to sign up for the next class.  Our infant massage instructor will discuss the benefits of infant massage for both infants and parents. The instructor will also instruct participants as they engage their babies in a gentle massage. This includes learning the various massage strokes and how to recognize their  baby’s cues, as well as massage techniques for gassiness and colic.  You may bring an extra receiving blanket and a yoga mat or heavy quilt  to put the baby on during the massage, or utilize one of the yoga mats we have available. Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register
