Tuesdays - Virtual - Breastfeeding Basics
We’re excited to offer virtual options for many of our classes and look forward to having you join us online!
To help ensure a smooth and engaging experience, please take a moment to review the following guidelines for attending virtual classes:
New to virtual classes? If you haven’t attended a virtual class with us before, please call our office ahead of time so we can set you up for remote services.
Camera requirement: All participants are required to keep their cameras on during class as part of our program standards.
Screen name: Please make sure your screen name matches the name you registered with.
Remote signature: Don’t forget to use the link provided to sign your remote signature before the end of class.
Following these steps helps us maintain a supportive and interactive learning environment. Please note that not meeting these requirements may result in removal from the class.

- Making Sure Baby is Getting Enough Milk
- Pumping and Storing Milk
- Troubleshooting
Buggies and Brain Boost
Join us for a fun and supportive class that begins with a stroller-friendly workout designed to help parents stay active while engaging with their little ones. After the exercise session, participants will gather for a brief parenting education discussion featuring practical tips and expert guidance on topics such as child development, positive parenting, family wellness, and building healthy routines at home. This class offers a great opportunity to improve fitness, connect with other parents, and gain valuable parenting insights in a welcoming environment.
Wednesdays - VIRTUAL ONLY - Breastfeeding Basics
This class will cover the basics of breastfeeding. Topics will include:
- the benefits of breastfeeding
- how breastfeeding works
- getting a good latch
- positions for breastfeeding
- when to feed baby
- making sure baby is getting enough milk
- pumping and storing milk
- troubleshooting

***Please bring your own water bottle for use with our water dispensers. Snacks will be provided when they are available. Please feel free to bring your own food to class.*

In Person Understanding Gestational Diabetes & Hypertension in Pregnancy

Overview: This educational class is designed for expecting parents to gain a clear understanding of two common pregnancy-related conditions: gestational diabetes and hypertensive disorders, including gestational hypertension and preeclampsia. Through expert guidance, participants will learn how these conditions develop, how they are diagnosed, and most importantly, how to manage them for a healthy pregnancy and delivery.

Gestational Diabetes:
- What it is and why it occurs during pregnancy
- Risk factors and screening methods
- How gestational diabetes affects both mother and baby
- Nutrition and lifestyle strategies to manage blood sugar
- Monitoring techniques and treatment options, including insulin therapy
Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy:
- Types: chronic hypertension, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, and eclampsia
- Signs, symptoms, and diagnostic criteria
- Risk factors and potential complications
- Dietary and lifestyle recommendations
- When medical intervention or early delivery may be necessary
