This class will cover the basics of breastfeeding. Topics will include:

• the benefits of breastfeeding
• how breastfeeding works
• getting a good latch
• positions for breastfeeding
• when to feed baby
• making sure baby is getting enough milk
• pumping and storing milk
• troubleshooting

Participants who attend this class will receive a Haakaa manual breast pump, limited to one per family, and may be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card and can shop in the Baby Boutique.

Please arrive to class on time. Participants will not be allowed into class if more than 30 minutes late.

Please arrive to class on time, doors will close 15 minutes after start time.The class covers and discusses feeding, diapering, bathing, newborn health, and newborn safety. During this class you will have a chance to practice diapering, swaddling, and other elements of baby care. Those who attend may be entered in a raffle for a door prize, receive a pack of diapers and have a chance to shop for free in our baby boutique. Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.

This course will teach Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED skills. ***This class is free to all eligible participants and does not include a certification card from the American Heart Association. If the participant would like to purchase the certification card, the cost will be $7.00. Participants must arrive on time for class to be eligible for certification***No children will be allowed to attend due to the nature of the class and the need for participants to practice their skills. Participants may be entered in a drawing for a $25 gift card and will be able to shop our baby boutique for free. (Seats for this class are based on single registrations. If partners will be attending together then they will both need to register)

Take this class when your baby is between 3 and 6 months of age to learn all the cues of readiness for solid foods, what and when to introduce them, how much to give, and how to maintain your breast milk supply during this period. Seats for this class are individual. This will prepare parents by teaching them what to expect immediately after baby arrives, self care for new moms, as well as how to recognize the signs of postpartum depression.  Each participant who attends this class will have the opportunity to create a postpartum essentials bag and may be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card. Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.

This is an informational class designed to educate parents about the benefits of signing with their baby from an early age. Parents will leave with an understanding of the many benefits of signing with their baby and how to use the most common signs as well as how to incorporate the signs into their daily infant care routines. 

Please arrive to class on time. Participants will not be allowed into class if more than 30 minutes late.
