Cloth Diapering 101

This class will teach participants about the use of cloth diapers as an alternative to disposable diapers. Participants will learn the different types of cloth diapers, what accessories are available, the benefits and cost of using cloth diapers, as well as tips on cleaning them. 

(Do Not Register Children)

Please arrive to class on time. Participants will not be allowed into class if more than 30 minutes late. 

**(Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.) If class is cancelled for any reason, participants will be notified as soon as possible.**

Prenatal Movement

This class is for pregnant persons and focuses on relaxation techniques and movements that are beneficial during pregnancy, childbirth, and recovery.

The Importance of Play

Parent’s will learn how play and interaction helps children through the different developmental stages. Participants will leave class with activities and tools for playing and interacting with their children from infancy through the toddler years. Each participant who attends this class will be entered in a drawing for a $25 gift card.

Car Seat Safety Class

Please arrive to class on time, doors will close 15 minutes after start time.This class covers an overview of infant and child car seat safety. We look at 5 types of car seats, how to properly install, and basic techniques to keep every passenger safe. Car seats will not be installed during this class, however, there will be an opportunity to practice installing your car seat after class or you may schedule an individual appointment with one of our car seat technicians for assistance.  Each participant may be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.

Preparing Older Siblings for Baby's Arrival(Only adult attendees need to complete the registration)

This class will help parents and older siblings as they prepare for the new baby to join their family. Through education and practical application, parents and siblings will learn what to expect when baby arrives and ways that older siblings can feel included as they help with the care of the new baby. This class is to be attended by both parents and siblings.

Participants who attend may be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.

Newborn Care Class #1- What To Expect

This class will cover common hospital procedures and how to advocate for yourself and your baby, the traits and reflexes that babies are born with, normal newborn behaviors and practical tips for comforting a crying baby. Prenatal Power: Energize Your Pregnancy!

Toddler Parenting
