Virtual Understanding Gestational Diabetes & Hypertension in Pregnancy

Overview: This educational class is designed for expecting parents to gain a clear understanding of two common pregnancy-related conditions: gestational diabetes and hypertensive disorders, including gestational hypertension and preeclampsia. Through expert guidance, participants will learn how these conditions develop, how they are diagnosed, and most importantly, how to manage them for a healthy pregnancy and delivery.

- Nutrition and lifestyle strategies to manage blood sugar

Virtual Baby and Me Movement

Baby and Me Movement is a beautiful blend of movement, infant care/development, postpartum care and parent community building.

This class is designed to be informative, practical, and fun, giving you useful tools you can put into practice right away. Whether you’re early in pregnancy or simply looking to create healthier routines for your growing family, you’ll leave feeling more prepared and supported.
In the Lifestyle class, we’ll explore how simple choices can make a big difference in your comfort and peace of mind during pregnancy and beyond. Together we’ll dive into:
• Better Sleep for Pregnancy – Learn why quality rest is so important and discover practical tweaks to improve your sleep. We’ll also practice using pillows to find supportive, comfortable positions that help you wake up more refreshed.
• Preparing for Baby’s Arrival – From planning ahead to organizing the essentials, we’ll talk about what you can start doing now so you feel calm, confident, and ready—without the last-minute scramble.
• Creating a Safe, Healthy Home – We’ll explore common chemical exposures in conventional cleaning products and simple ways to reduce them. You’ll even get hands-on by making your own natural all-purpose cleaner to take home!
This class is one part of our Healthy Pregnancy Series, a 4-part series covering Lifestyle, Movement, Nutrition, and Mindset. Keep an eye out for the other parts of this series to be added soon. You’re welcome to join us for the full series or pick and choose the classes that interest you most—each one stands on its own.

Virtual Maternidad Empoderada(Virtual Empowered Motherhood in Spanish)

Empowered Motherhood es una serie de cuatro semanas diseñada para ayudar a las futuras madres a enfrentar los desafíos que pueden surgir durante el período posparto temprano.
Aunque esta clase no es un tratamiento para la depresión posparto, tiene como objetivo brindar a las participantes una comprensión de las emociones normales que se experimentan durante el posparto, comúnmente conocidas como "Baby Blues", y cómo reconocer cuándo estos sentimientos podrían indicar algo más serio, como la depresión posparto. Las participantes también adquirirán herramientas para manejar el estrés durante el embarazo y el posparto, establecer límites con sus seres queridos, pedir ayuda, comunicar sus necesidades e identificar recursos para obtener apoyo adicional cuando sea necesario.
Esta clase es exclusivamente para mujeres embarazadas. Para fomentar un espacio de apertura y vulnerabilidad, no se permite la asistencia de parejas. Si la clase se cancela por cualquier motivo, se notificará a las participantes de manera oportuna.
