Virtual Car Seat Safety

This class covers an overview of infant and child car seat safety. We look at 5 types of car seats, how to properly install, and basic techniques to keep every passenger safe. San Antonio Birth Doulas is not a car seat distribution center and therefore car seats will not be given out for this class. Car seats will not be installed during this class, however, there will be an opportunity to practice installing your car seat after class or you may schedule an individual appointment with one of our car seat technicians for assistance.

Virtual Understanding Pelvic Floor Health Through Every Stage of Motherhood

Virtual Prenatal Movement

This nurturing class is thoughtfully designed for those on their pregnancy journey, offering a safe and supportive space to move, breathe, and connect with your changing body and growing baby. Each session focuses on gentle stretches, mindful breathing, and relaxation techniques that promote comfort, strength, and emotional well-being during pregnancy.
Led by an experienced instructor who understands the unique needs of expectant mothers, this class encourages self-care, community, and empowerment through every stage of pregnancy. Whether you're new to movement practices or looking to maintain your routine, you'll find a welcoming environment tailored just for you.
This class is exclusively for pregnant individuals. All trimesters are welcome.
Virtual Seguridad del asiento del coche(Car Seat Safety in Spanish)
Por favor llegue a clase a tiempo, las puertas se cerrarán 15 minutos después de la hora de inicio. Esta clase cubre una descripción general de la seguridad de los asientos de seguridad para bebés y niños. El educador demostrará 5 tipos de asientos para el automóvil, cómo instalarlos correctamente y técnicas básicas para mantener a todos los pasajeros seguros. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de practicar con diferentes estilos de asientos para el automóvil. Virtual Childbirth Series

This class should be taken after 28 weeks of pregnancy.
The childbirth SERIES and the MARATHON are the same curriculum. Please do not register for both.
Registrations are limited to the pregnant person and ONE support person. The support person must also register to hold their spot.
This 4 week series will equip birthing persons and support persons with the knowledge and tools necessary for birth, newborn expectations and the postpartum period.
Each week features a different topic. Topics include:
Week 1: Pain and Comfort
Week 2: Labor and Birth
Week 3: Medical Interventions
Week 4: Newborn Hospital Procedures and Postpartum Care
Please arrive to class at least 10 minutes before class start time. Doors will be locked and participants will not be allowed into class if more than 15 minutes late.
**(Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.) This class is held every other Thursday at the same time. If class is cancelled for any reason, participants will be notified as soon as possible.**

Virtual Marathon Childbirth Class

Please arrive to class on time, participants will not be admitted 15 minutes after start time.This class should be taken no earlier than 28 weeks of pregnancy.
This class is our entire childbirth class series all in one day.
We will cover -
- Planning Your Birth,
- Pain and Comfort Measures,
- Labor and Delivery,
- Medical Interventions,
- Postpartum and Newborn Care.
Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.
Those attending virtually may pick up a workbook and activity packet at our office prior to class.

This is an informational class designed to educate parents about the benefits of signing with their baby from an early age. Parents will leave with an understanding of the many benefits of signing with their baby and how to use the most common signs as well as how to incorporate the signs into their daily infant care routines.
