(Newborn Care in Spanish) Cuidado de recién nacidos
Por favor llegue a clase a tiempo, las puertas se cerrarán 15 minutos después de la hora de inicio.En esta clase se cubre la comprensión de los rasgos y comportamientos del recién nacido, el llanto y el consuelo, la alimentación, el cambio de pañales, el baño, la salud y la seguridad del recién nacido. Los participantes aprenderán qué esperar en el hospital después de que nazca el bebé y recibirán práctica sobre cómo cuidar a su recién nacido una vez que lo lleven a casa. Childbirth Education Series

This class should be taken after 28 weeks of pregnancy.
The childbirth SERIES and the MARATHON are the same curriculum. Please do not register for both.
Registrations are limited to the pregnant person and ONE support person. The support person must also register to hold their spot.
This 4 week series will equip birthing persons and support persons with the knowledge and tools necessary for birth, newborn expectations and the postpartum period.
Each week features a different topic. Topics include:
Week 1: Pain and Comfort
Week 2: Labor and Birth
Week 3: Medical Interventions
Week 4: Newborn Hospital Procedures and Postpartum Care
At the end of this four week series participants will be entered into a raffle for a door prize. After each class participants can have a free shopping trip to our Baby Boutique.
Please arrive to class at least 10 minutes before class start time. Doors will be locked and participants will not be allowed into class if more than 15 minutes late.
**(Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.) This class is held every other Thursday at the same time. If class is cancelled for any reason, participants will be notified as soon as possible.**
*Please bring your own water bottle for use with our water dispensers. Snacks will be provided when they are available. Please feel free to bring your own food to class.*
Virtual Childbirth Series

The Importance of Play

Play is far more than just fun—it’s a vital part of healthy development for children of all ages. In this engaging and informative class, participants will explore the essential role of play in cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. Through discussion, examples, and hands-on activities, we’ll examine how different types of play (free play, structured play, imaginative play, and physical play) contribute to learning and well-being.

Newborn Care Class -Taking Care of Your Newborn
Please arrive to class on time, doors will close 15 minutes after start time.The class covers and discusses feeding, diapering, bathing, newborn health, and newborn safety. During this class you will have a chance to practice diapering, swaddling, and other elements of baby care. Those who attend may be entered in a raffle for a door prize, receive a pack of diapers and have a chance to shop for free in our baby boutique. Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.

Conceptos Básicos de la lactancia Materna (Breastfeeding Basics in Spanish)
Por favor llegue a clase a tiempo, las puertas se cerrarán 15 minutos después de la hora de inicio.En esta clase se habla sobre los beneficios de amamantar a su bebe, Como funciona la lactancia materna, Cómo asegurar un buen agarre, Posiciones para amamantar, Posiciones para amamantar, cuando amamantar al bebe, Como asegurar que el bebe está consumiendo suficiente leche materna, Como extraer y almacenar la leche de materna. Los participantes que asistan a esta clase recibirán un extractor de leche manual Haakaa, limitado a uno por familia, y podrán participar en el sorteo de una tarjeta de regalo.
