Learning Through Play- Infants

This class is designed to be an interactive class that engages parents and infants in play while teaching parents about the different developmental milestones as they move through the available activities.
- Parents will leave with ideas on how to facilitate play at home with their babies.
- This class is designed for infants and babies that are not mobile.
Please arrive to class on time. Participants will not be allowed into class if more than 15 minutes late.
**(Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.) If class is cancelled for any reason, participants will be notified as soon as possible.**
Please bring your own water bottle for use with our water dispensers. Snacks will be provided when they are available. Please feel free to bring your own food to class.
Baby Signs

This is an informational class designed to educate parents about the benefits of signing with their baby from an early age. Parents will leave with an understanding of the many benefits of signing with their baby and how to use the most common signs as well as how to incorporate the signs into their daily infant care routines.

Virtual Baby Sign Language

This is an informational class designed to educate parents about the benefits of signing with their baby from an early age. Parents will leave with an understanding of the many benefits of signing with their baby and how to use the most common signs as well as how to incorporate the signs into their daily infant care routines.

New to virtual classes? If you haven’t attended a virtual class with us before, please call our office ahead of time so we can set you up for remote services.
Camera requirement: All participants are required to keep their cameras on during class as part of our program standards.
Screen name: Please make sure your screen name matches the name you registered with.
Remote signature: Don’t forget to use the link provided to sign your remote signature before the end of class.
Following these steps helps us maintain a supportive and interactive learning environment. Please note that not meeting these requirements may result in removal from the class.

Learning Through Play- Toddlers

This class is designed to be an interactive class that engages parents and infants in play while teaching parents about the different developmental milestones as they move through the available activities.
- Parents will leave with ideas on how to facilitate play at home with their infants.
- This class is designed for older babies who are mobile, toddlers and children under 3 years old.
Please arrive to class on time. Participants will not be allowed into class if more than 15 minutes late.

(Newborn Care in Spanish) Cuidado de recién nacidos

Por favor llegue a clase a tiempo, las puertas se cerrarán 15 minutos después de la hora de inicio.En esta clase se cubre la comprensión de los rasgos y comportamientos del recién nacido, el llanto y el consuelo, la alimentación, el cambio de pañales, el baño, la salud y la seguridad del recién nacido. Los participantes aprenderán qué esperar en el hospital después de que nazca el bebé y recibirán práctica sobre cómo cuidar a su recién nacido una vez que lo lleven a casa. Esta clase está dirigida a futuros padres y cubrirá:Qué esperar después del nacimiento del bebé.Procedimientos hospitalarios comunes y cómo abogar por ti y por tu bebé.Las características y reflejos con los que nacen los bebés.Comportamientos normales de los recién nacidos y consejos prácticos para consolar a un bebé que llora.¡Nos emociona ofrecer opciones virtuales para muchas de nuestras clases y esperamos que te unas a nosotros en línea!Para ayudar a garantizar una experiencia fluida y enriquecedora, por favor toma un momento para revisar las siguientes pautas para asistir a clases virtuales:¿Primera vez en clases virtuales? Childbirth Education Series

This class should be taken after 28 weeks of pregnancy.
The childbirth SERIES and the MARATHON are the same curriculum. Please do not register for both.
Registrations are limited to the pregnant person and ONE support person. The support person must also register to hold their spot.
This 4 week series will equip birthing persons and support persons with the knowledge and tools necessary for birth, newborn expectations and the postpartum period.
Each week features a different topic. Topics include:
Week 1: Pain and Comfort
Week 2: Labor and Birth
Week 3: Medical Interventions
Week 4: Newborn Hospital Procedures and Postpartum Care
At the end of this four week series participants will be entered into a raffle for a door prize. After each class participants can have a free shopping trip to our Baby Boutique.
Please arrive to class at least 10 minutes before class start time. Doors will be locked and participants will not be allowed into class if more than 15 minutes late.
**(Seats for this class are individual. If both partners are attending they will both need to register.) This class is held every other Thursday at the same time. If class is cancelled for any reason, participants will be notified as soon as possible.**

Virtual-Conceptos Básicos de la lactancia Materna (Breastfeeding Basics in Spanish)

Por favor llegue a clase a tiempo, las puertas se cerrarán 15 minutos después de la hora de inicio.En esta clase se habla sobre los beneficios de amamantar a su bebe, Como funciona la lactancia materna, Cómo asegurar un buen agarre, Posiciones para amamantar, Posiciones para amamantar, cuando amamantar al bebe, Como asegurar que el bebe está consumiendo suficiente leche materna, Como extraer y almacenar la leche de materna. Los participantes que asistan a esta clase recibirán un extractor de leche manual Haakaa, limitado a uno por familia, y podrán participar en el sorteo de una tarjeta de regalo.
